The Lindy League is working with the Wednesday night dance at the Northampton Center for the Arts to provide progressive Lindy Hop series at both the beginner and intermediate levels. The classes will be taught by Camille, Christine, Joanna, Mark and Tricia. Both classes are from 6-7pm. The Wednesday night classes will be followed by a dance at the Center for the Arts from 8:30-11:00pm. more details >>
Second Fridays in the Fall - The Smith Campus is in full swing and the Lindy League is once again teaming up with the Smith Hooked on Swing Society to bring you a dance on the second Friday. There will be a beginner lindy hop lesson from 7-8pm, followed by a dance from 8-11 PM with music from DJs Camille "C-Jam" Fontanella and Mark "Ragmopp" Page - Admission for Smith students is free -
Third Thursdays in the Fall - the Lindy League is proud to present a new practice night with a lindy lesson from 7-8. The dance, featuring local DJs Camille "C-Jam" Fontanella, Mark "Ragmopp" Page, and Tricia Lea, will then be held from 8-10:30PM in the Northeast American Dance Studio on the 4th floor of the Fitzwilly's building in downtown Northampton!
Sundays in the Fall - the Lindy League is holding a practice session from 3-5 on Sundays in the Northeast American School of Dance Studio on the 4th Floor of the Fitzwilly's building. This practice session is for experienced dancers looking for practice space. This is not a led class. $5/person.
